SlingShot For US Coast Guard

The Coast Guard provides a unique service to the United States. As a maritime force, the USCG patrol and assist in the Nation’s waterways, coast lines and outlying territories. They enforce maritime safety laws and assist Law Enforcement with combatting criminal activity. In all of these roles, the USCG requires the capability to effectively communicate with other DOD assets and with Law Enforcement and First Responders.

SlingShot fills communications voids by providing the USCG with BLOS communications, Comms-on-the-Move and Interoperability communications. The SlingShot system affords various radios in different frequency bands (UHF and VHF) the ability to communicate with each other in the same tactical radio network. This capability can link USCG elements with domestic Law Enforcement, First Responders, FEMA and other aid organizations when conducting various operations.
